Furality Ultra Club A/V Writeup

Furality is a furry convention that takes place in VRChat.

I'm always a bit blown away by their dance/club setup (particularly with DMX data for in-world lighting being encoded into video streams), so I really appreciated seeing one of their A/V crew write up details on their production.

I was for a while working on Furality's infra, I haven't been there for about 2 years but they're still using a lot of the fundamentals we established while I was there (and for a while leading the infra team). We usually did a panel during the event talking about the devops side of running the convention

Not worth getting into why I left but needless to say it's a ton of work to put on and support this event, especially when the core is made up entirely of volunteers.

Lots of incredibly cool stuff going on here, I had no idea it was this complex under the hood.
