Gödel, Escher, Elisp: The Beauty of Macros

Boy that site does a great job of distracting from what is, in the end, some words and still pictures. Plz.

really well put, i think if i had read this back when i first tried elisp, i might have grasped lisp and its macros sooner

Does the author really think that using a horizontal scroll bar to scroll horizontally is a good idea? Why the bespoke browser? I'm already using a browser.

Edited to add: disabling Javascript made the reading experience much better, in my opinion.
