It is surprising how little diversity of software there is for this, esp. if you want to create your "key" from a Linux device. (There are quite a few more options on Windows.)
I wrote my own janky solution to use a Pi Zero to emulate mass storage devices. The README also lists a few alternative implementations, and links to another piece of software that I cobbled together from some random instructions to convert Windows ISOs to bootable USB images.
This seems way too complexy! You have to do all this stuff just to quote" make it safe. I just live with a fen toy stuff for toys anyway.
Ventoy? Its install is kinda complicated as well.
If you have ideas on how to simplify, would like to hear.
