“The Secret Life of Circuits” is here

Hm, it sounds like it could be a decent book, but if I'm honest I found it hard to tell from the chosen sample chapter. (Not sure if the author would be here to read this feedback)
I say that because the sample chapter does not seem like a particularly interesting one to me because it's more or less just introducing a bunch of components (that they exist and very basic information about them), components that I personally don't need an introduction to. In my opinion that doesn't really seem like the 'meat' of the book and it doesn't give me a representative impression of what the 'meat' would be like.
(I'd be keen to expand my knowledge and intuition around analogue circuit design and unsure if I would be wise to consider this book, or see if I can wrangle that copy of the Art of Electronics or whatever off a relative ;-).)

Just placed a pre-order. I hope reading this book motivates me to get started with electronics again. Building something real and tangible can be so much more rewarding than writing “just” software.

I enjoyed skimming through it... the physical copy is very well printed and colorful!
