Mac Cleaner CLI: Free & Open Source Mac cleanup tool

No, I'm not letting what looks like an AI-generated tool delete stuff off my computer.

Cool tool, but between all of the NPM supply chain attacks, especially of late, the last thing I'm tempted to do is give a javascript/typescript app read/write permissions on my entire disk. I'll personally stick to the native cleanup utilities that ship with macOS.

A Mac doesn't need any "cleaning". In fact it may lead to reduced performance. Emptying the trash also doesn't need a tool, it can be set to auto-empty in 30 days.

I'll stick with Onyx

I'm not the target audience for this "tool", but regardless of that I can't fathom the mental hoops you jump through think this is a good thing to use nodejs for.

That you would need a third party module to determine if a TTY is interactive should have been the red flag that nodejs is not a good runtime for shell programs.
