https://upd.dev/ is a fork of Forgejo that replaces the diff view with this Pierre diff library, in case you'd like more of a demo.

The diff looks good, but does not work at all with JS disabled.

Looking at https://upd.dev/upd/upd-forgejo/commits/branch/main, it doesn't inspire confidence:
- the whole git history has been squashed in one commit 3 days ago
- some stuff has been added to this initial commit (e.g. AGENTS.md file), so no easy way to tell the forked code apart from the original code
- no rationale regarding the reason for this fork instead of contributing upstream (apart from "No Global Code of Conduct" and "No Global Stance on AI")

  Sorry I didn't make it clear: I'm not the author. I've seen the author on Pierre's Discord (e.g. this thread, requires signing up for the discord linked to from diffs.com first), and upd.dev might have a way to contact them.
  
  Otherwise, all valid points. I personally would treat upd.dev more like a demo.

    It is actually a good example to see how “real-world” diff look like, when rendered with this library.
    
    (The lower part of my comment is somewhat off topic for this story, but I couldn’t resist digging a little after reading “fork of Forgejo” :)
