Taming Claude Code

(author here) I was recently giving masterclasses for colleagues and friends about Claude Code and realized it makes sense to share some tips I show there.
I believe that Agentic Coding is a very useful tool for routine operations and code-reviewing. It might be wonderful for prototypes, but it is not reliable and not self-sufficient. I strongly advise against letting jr-developers working with agentic tools, as they rarely have rigor and analytical capacity to handle the experience. I try to invent approaches for making the process more predictable for use inside the companies I do consulting for, as I am, myself, a very nitpicky person.
I could not find the masterclass tips you mentioned, the content of the article is quite basic for a community of skilled developers like this one.
The content was originally made for developers without exposure to coding agents. They are experienced in their fields, but never used more than “smart” autocomplete.
So my goal was to give them some safer practices than what they might encounter in content produced by vibecoding proponents
