Nit-pick: The tag linux feels slightly awkward in this context, given that Motif was released in 1989 by a consortium of Unix vendors such as DEC, HP and Bull :-p
I personally found Motif to be genuinely horrible, but I respect and honor people who resurrect and continue updating software they find useful. Is there a name for this?
