Who cares? If you don't have the vibecoding tag muted, it really couldn't matter less.
Infinitely long given this is to showcase a real thing (oxide.computer which is a pretty well known thing) via a cool marketing graphic that happens to be built in part with AI. The code isn't what's being showcased here.
100% true. But I think GP is implying despite that, the Lobster.rs community is very trigger happy with the vibecoding tag. (To which I would kind of agree).
It's completely ruining the experience for me, and I'm pretty much done with this site at this point. It's not even correct in its use of the term.

I honestly don't get this. It's a showcase marketing demo made by an employee so I find it highly unlikely they would slop away with something that's not correct. The project is in good shape with no obvious marks this was vibecoded.
Yeah there is CLAUDE.md in the repository but come on now, that's a bit too pedantic if that's the sole reason the tag was added. If they were to publish some of their low-level stuff full of em-dashes and goofy comments I wouldn't bat an eye on the tag, but this is a static promotional website whose sole purpose is to be good looking...
