Long live the handmade web.
An interesting definition of "handmade", considering that portions of the code are generated using Claude Code
Of course those commits are all pretty small, but it casts some serious doubts on the "handmade" aspect of the project as a whole as similar to roaches when there's one there's likely to be many.
Oh that is really disappointing. I read "handmade" as a statement in opposition to generated code.
Things are really getting bleak, aren't they.
Bleak indeed. I made the same assumption until @yorickpeterse found evidence of slop. It's remarkably treacherous these days to recommend any projects that don't open with a clear and unambiguous anti-"genai" disclaimer.
It's going to get a lot more bleak as everything begins to degrade to hardly existent uptime and entirely nonexistent security the more of this type of stuff pervades the ecosystem.
The tool I found most intriguing is not on the list of web-based ones. The Cassini painting app looks amazing. Shame it's only for iPad!
