Run Windows 2000 on a DEC Alpha with a new es40 fork

Has anyone tried Tru64 in this? That's what I have currently on my 164LX. Seems like the earlier fork has issues.
Yeah that seems to work as well: https://www.zx.net.nz/computers/dec/axpemu-es40.shtml#tru64
Though my instructions there are a little out of date - the config utility has been updated to remove some options that confused people (I might try to get that page updated sometime this week).
Apparently Digital UNIX 4.0E is the earliest version that will run, though 4.0F was the first release to officially support that platform. OpenVMS works too (it is the maintainers primary interest). And on the Windows side, the 64bit build of Windows 2000ish works about as well as it does anywhere, and I think the floppy drive issue might have been fixed now so NT 4.0 ought to install fine too.
It is true the hobbyist program for OpenVMS is no longer running for the Alpha. That is disappointing, need to do x86-64 via KVM.
Yeah, a real shame. I was in the middle of setting up an OpenVMS x86 web server VM to host the bookreader-format documentation I have lying around when VSI announced there would be no more hobbyist licenses. So I just deleted the VM; no point continuing to set it up if it was just going to stop working in a few months. And now my Alphas just run Windows or Tru64.
