If anybody is interested in trying out Zine, this is a great time!

Fair warning, you will be getting yourself into an ecosystem that does not rely on common file formats, so there is some friction in both setting up your editors and getting used to it, but the upside is that you can already see how the authoring experience can be improved by things like:

a templating language that makes it impossible to write malformed HTML
LSP diagnostics, go to definition, and autocomplete for your frontmatter and config files (with a schema that can is human-readable, unlike json schema)

And Zine is also an order of magnitude faster than Hugo, which is already plenty fast.

I've also just started a new forum to move discussions (and help questions) away from Discord, it's brand new so its has no activity in it yet, but that's the new home for the Zine community:
