To do damage control for the author before it envelops the comment section again, the author would prefer you to disable JS outright / whitelist it only for trusted websites, so they'll camouflage their tab as various sites when the tab gets unfocused as a protest for the reader having Javascript on.

I understand the argument, but without digging up a RFC or position document, I feel like the general goal of Browser Javascript has been creating a untrusted sandbox since visiting a website should not be inherently dangerous. I'll leave the weight of both arguments to the reader('s opsec).

With that said, if this bothers you, the author might grumble but disable Javascript for this site using your tool of choice (uBlock Origin has it as the fifth button under the power symbol if you expand it enough). It's (probably intentionally) a static site.
